MEDIA STATEMENT 27 JUNE 2020 – SATURDAY
UMZIMVUBU LOCAL MUNICIPALITY MOURNS THE LOSS OF TWO COUNCIL MEMBERS
Umzimvubu Local Municipality is saddened by the untimely death of Councillor (Cllr.) Andile Mgangatho and Nkosi Mkhuseli Nota who both passed away. The municipal council and administration have been deprived from yet another two firm community leaders.
“On behalf of Umzimvubu Local Municipality, I would like to send our deepest condolences to their families and the community of Umzimvubu that they both served. May we all find solace in knowledge that we all painfully share the untimely loss of our leaders” said Umzimvubu Mayor, Cllr Sobane Mnukwa.
“Cllr Mngangatho and Nkosi Nota cared about their respective communities and worked diligently towards the development of Umzimvubu, may we continue walking in their footprints and continue serving our communities” concluded the Mayor.
